Description

Refurbished Dell PowerEdge 1950 GenIII 1U 2.5" 4 HDD Bay's

Industry Leading 2-Year WarrantyDell PowerEdge 1950 Gen III Servers are fully refurbished and come standard with a 60-Day warranty! Our Used Dell PowerEdge 1950 Gen 3 1U Servers (4-Port) 4 HDD Bays (2.5" Hard Drive Bays) were recently pulled from a climate controlled facility. The exterior of the Dell PowerEdge 1950 server has minor scuffs and scratches consistent with cabinet mounting, server stacking and normal use. At SaveMyServer.com we stand behind our used dell servers.

1950 Server Refurbish Process: Server Refurbishing process consists of both physical appearance of the server chassis and components, as well as full diagnostics. We do not use ghost images. They are unreliable across multiple configurations and third party components. When a server goes out our door, we know that it is ready for a full production environment.

1950 Testing and Build Process: The SaveMyServer in-housed tech department starts by setting up the bios, configuring the controllers, build an array, update the drivers and firmware, install Windows 2008 or 2012 Server Evaluation Edition operating system and proceed to run full diagnostics. We perform a clean install on each refurbished server. We also perform the Dell OpenManage PowerEdge updates, bringing the components like the system bios, PERC RAID, network interface and other Dell drivers up to their latest version.

    Can't beat the price

Posted by Ben on 23rd May 2014

My last order brings me up to 6 Dell servers purchased from SaveMyServer. They boxes always arrive quickly, and well packed. I haven't had any issues with them not starting right out of the box. We did have one hard drive failure serveral months after putting the first 4 into service, but 1 out of 8 is on par with my experience of brand new drives from Seagate. These are solid and very clean machines that still have plenty of life left in them. We are using them in a production environment so due to thier age we install in pairs and configure failover. Haven't needed it yet. Nice hardware at a good price!
